I am rather excited-- the work I've been doing for my internship [illustrating a whole book on fashion and beauty] has granted me access to so many new styles and versions of portraying clothing.
And more artists in my field, one of which is inspiring a lot of digital colouring. I still have no tablet, but I've been making do. I really want to use other people in my experimentations [I sound like a Doctor Frankenstein], but it's difficult to go up to people, especially friends, and ask if I can photograph them and use them as models. Awk-ward.... But I shall keep trying. I grew sick of drawing myself years ago.
In other art-sy news, I have completed a sequential truckload of inked images for the Jan/Lu arch that's been in one of my journals since I was 12. I'm only pleased with a handful of the imagery, but those I am pleased with, are definitely worth something. They evoke emotion. And it's a happy emotion, which is something I have great difficulty in displaying in word or image.
So yay.
OH YEAAAHHHH. That's right-- I know what my *new* senior project is. And I already have plans drawn up, and I think it'll look good.
Huzzah, and good night.
Lovelove.
